I love this game so much! Very impressed that it uses stock BASIC on the Atari for such fluid gameplay. And the graphics are a perfect homage to the smartphone original. Hope @Vitoco doesn't mind, but I couldn't resist trying to port this to the Sinclair ZX Spectrum (of course!). I've managed to create two versions - a classic PUR-80 implementation that works on all Spectrums (with red tree trunks and yellow flesh), and a PUR-120 version that works on modern Spectrums with ULAplus (such as the ZXUno, ZX Spectrum Next or Retro Games Ltd 'The Spectrum') to give you brown tree trunks and human-coloured skin! Controls are 'o' and 'p', with 'm' to restart the game. Timer doesn't start until you make your first chop. https://github.com/marvbloke/BASIC10Liners/tree/main/Extras/ZX%20Timberman
Come on you C64 and MSX devs - let’s see ports for your systems too!
281 chops in 75 seconds! Amazing graphics and gameplay for 80 chars!
Really good
